Withdrawing from the Alpine Epic

Participants who do not finish a stage, or do not arrive at check points within allotted times, will not be ranked as official race finishers. They are permitted to start on all subsequent stages but results will not be recorded.

Teams or individual members who wish to pull out of the race may do so by notifying race officials.

If no such notification of withdrawal is issued, the race organisers reserve the right to mount a search and rescue mission with the appropriate emergency authorities - at the cost of the negligent participant(s).

If only one participant decides to withdraw, the remaining team member may continue at the discretion of the race organisers.

The organisers reserve the right to prevent a rider from continuing the race following medical advice.
