Alpine Epic
This is the heart of the race, the route, type of riding, what you can expect and an overview of the race rules. Hopefully you can find everything you need in one of the subpages to your left. We've also thrown in some tips and thoughts, but feel free to disregard these and make up your own mind.
The following info refers to the planned 2011 course, which is an evolution from the previous years. This is likely to change as we find new tracks, encounter hurdles and refine our thinking. Will give you a good indication of what you will encounter and hopefully excite you about venturing into the lee of the Southern Alps.
