Sigh, I hear ya Ben, in this day and age result can be posted within mins of finishing each stage, so where are they? C 2 C had the results constantly being updated, for this sort of race so far out, you would expect us supporters to be able to see how our friends are doin, but you and me are completely in the dark!

I agree, all the ironman races are updated live. I did a mtb race at the weekend and the results where up that evening....
I don't understand why they would go to all this effort to make a nice website with a countdown timer, etc. and not bother to post the results?????

No one has thought that maybe they are out of cell phone range?

yeah, their only carrier pigeon has a cold so they couldn't relay the results back to HQ

Hey come on guys...ease up a little. these guys and gals busted their asses for months to put on a bloody awesome event, had to change the course multiple times due to weather AND the whole time had big smiles on their faces. So the results were a little slow in coming. it's not the end of the world!
Nick, Gus, Pete and all the rest to the amazing team
WELL DONE!!!!

Couldn't agree more with Gareth.
Nick, Gus, Pete and the whole team put in a MASSIVE effort throughout the race. From my perspective (as the cameraman) the event was amazing - by far the best I've ever been involved with.
As for the results - bear in mind that the race was held in the middle of nowhere. Literally. Making comparison to C2C and Ironman is ridiculous - logistically this was like running one of those races every day!
I take my hat off to the guys - a job very well done.

It's easy to sit at home & wait for results. I said to Nick it would be more stressful running this event than riding it, making course changes just ahead of the pack just proves that the organisers were totally committed to this event & whilst it would be nice to get live updates & don't think many of the transponders would have made it through the course!

Get over it guys, as a competitor who has just finished the race and been involved in putting on events like this in the past you can't imagine how hard it is to deal with everything going on at the time. The organisers did an outstanding job of pulling off a race to be proud of. With all the uncertainty around weather, remote communication, and course changes required it's a testament to the commitment of everyone involved. Well done and long may a race like this be around!!!
