Well done Nick, Gus and the team at Alpine Epic for a fantastic inaugural event - well worth my trip across from Oz and a very satisfying experience all around. I thought your organisation was right on the mark and your ability to adapt to the weather challenges with a course re-route on Day 4 was great - that route was very enjoyable and worked well. The logistics of 90L bags etc was fine. Food was great and well organised. Hope you guys can get it up as a regular event. Congratulations.

Great event, I had a blast. It was a challenging course and I have huge sense of achievement. Yes there are things to tweek but they are minor in comparison to all things that were met: i.e. Great to see ambulance and other support at all the rights spots, friendly helpful support crew, lots of good food, good mechanic and masseuse. Fantastic atmosphere - relaxed. Organizers were responsive to weather conditions, and still able to deliver a challenging course There is willingness to recognize difficulties and to apologize for them whilst trying hard to set things right. I’m sure that you will be able to pick up the things that need attention and deliver an even smoother event next time. Well done on all your hard work.
