GPS files

I saw a couple of riders using Garmin Edge GPS devices at the race, I would be keen to get the data files if possible to view the ammended course and altitude profiles. Thanks in advance.

Me too, we could use it on the website to map out the course using Google maps.
I think a map was lacking on the site for this years event.

Hi

I used a garmin forerunner 305. Battery life was an issue, so I borrowed a friends and ended up using 2 over the 2 days. The files are a bit fragmented as a result. Not exactly sure how to post them up here? Just out of interest, total ascent for the 2 days was measured at over 7000m!

Cheers

Steve

Wow that's a lot of climbing we did. If you can email the files to bryce@cycletech.co.nz I would sure appreciate it. Maybe send an email to the organisers also since it looks like they were keen to put the map on the site.

I've posted Rob's GPS tracks on bikely.com:

www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/2009-Alpine-Epic-Day-2
www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/2009-Alpine-Epic-Day-3

They are not perfect but good enough. You can see where we screwed up and went down a gully instead of hugging the hill on Day4 ;) Thanks to Rob for hauling the GPS...
