Official Entry Form

2011 Alpine Epic cancelled

We are sorry to say that we are unable to run the 2011 Alpine Epic due to low numbers. We are gutted to be in this position, and would like to offer you a sincere apology for any inconvenience this causes, and for getting your hopes up over the last few months. After a couple of years hard work establishing a quality event and refining the route we were excited about this years event, however despite lots of enquiries and interest we are at present a significant number of teams short, and with the high costs of compliance and safety management cannot cover our costs with the current number of entries.

Thanks to you all for supporting the event through entering and committing, especially in the current economic climate. Many of you have ridden one or both of our previous Epics and have offered help, and promoted the Alpine Epic through workplaces and other events. Your friendliness and support has been incredible and left us feeling pretty humbled at times.

We are going to have a good think about the future of the event over the next few months. This format of race continues to grow overseas, and we may continue the Alpine Epic in some form after some time mulling over it.

As outlined earlier we will refund all money paid to us (excluding Credit Card transaction fees). We will do this within two weeks of receiving bank account details of those entered. If this concerns you please can you send these through either in reply to this email, or to , in the following format:

Name - eg Pablo Picasso
Team number - 3
Bank - BNZ
Account number XX XXXX XXXXXX XX

Thanks
